One row per source: the figure the source's own page publishes, the page, and the day it was read. A figure that is not on a page we read is not on this one.

Methodology

Every row is a verbatim sentence read from the named source's own page through our fetch service on the date shown, hash-pinned to the stored read (the sha of the page's visible text; the raw page is mirrored to R2).

2 of the 12 named sources that could be read published a usable figure; 10 published none and are recorded as not published, never filled in; 0 could not be read (blocked, dead or unreachable) and count nowhere.

The headline figures (median, minimum, maximum, quartiles) are over ONE figure per source in % (a source's median where its page yielded several accepted sentences), so N counts sources, never sentences; 59 candidate sentence(s) were refused by a reviewer with the reason recorded.

The fuller derivation this dataset is chartered to grow into (not yet what the figures above are; they are each source's own published figure as read): one row per jurisdiction per document type (invoice, VAT or tax invoice, credit note, statement of account) listing every mandatory field, the threshold at which it becomes mandatory, the deadline for issuing it and the retention period - each quoted verbatim from that country's own tax authority with its effective date.

The cross-jurisdiction comparison is the figure nobody publishes: how many mandatory fields each country imposes, where the thresholds sit (Canada's three tiers at CAD 100 and 500, Australia's AUD 1,000 buyer-identity rule), and changed-since, which is live news because the EU's structured e-invoicing regime lands in 2030 and the UK's retention rule is six years.

Every template the site ships is GENERATED from the row for that jurisdiction and document, so a template cannot drift from the rule it claims to satisfy.

59 candidate sentences on these pages were refused by a reviewer; each refusal and its reason is recorded in the review ledger.
